Link Crew is a program designed to assist freshmen in acclimating to high school in a safe, comfortable, and fun way! Upperclassmen Link Leaders offer guidance and friendship to new students by sharing personal experiences, knowledge, tips, and companionship. Our mission is to make everyone feel more welcome, valuable, and included here at Mira Costa- from greeting you at orientation, to eating lunch together, to attending campus events as a Crew. We believe there’s a place for everyone!
Ms. Hutchinson is the Link Crew Coordinator and teacher of the LC class. She became involved with Link Crew to help empower students to become leaders. She believes a student-led support system is important for creating a positive, inclusive campus.

The Link Crew Class is a class taught here at Costa by Ms. Hutchinson. In this class, we learn many leadership skills. We plan many events here on Costa. As Link Leaders, we meet with our groups of freshman about once or twice a month for lunch just to catch up on their first year of high school.
